Runner/Service Assistants

Type: Part-time

Reports to: Taproom Manager

Pay: $15.50/hour plus tips

We are hiring Runners/Service Assistants at Drake’s Barrel House, located at our brewery in San Leandro. We are seeking candidates who have a passion for craft beer, hospitality and for candidates that WANT to be a part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and welcoming service to each guest.
• Accurately run beverages and food to guests.
• Be knowledgeable about all products served.
• Assure that all tables and service areas are kept clean and free of debris
• Provide support to all areas of the space as needed
• Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, and FOH staff to ensure customers’ concerns are addressed.
• Complete all tasks and trainings assigned by management staff

Requirements

• Experience with POS systems
• Familiarity with reservation platforms
• High-level of verbal and written communication
• Ability to competently use tablets and other electronic devices
• High-level of verbal and written communication skills
