We are seeking Sales Associates in the East Bay and San Francisco.
This position requires a passion about exceptional beer and an ability to talk with decision makers to grow distribution for Drake’s Brewing Company. The ideal Sales Associates will have a background in restaurants, bars, or retail in the East Bay or San Francisco, and must live in the area for which they are applying. The hours are flexible and may not exceed 20 in a week.
Reports to: Market Area District Manager
Pay: Hourly, plus commissions on sales
- Solicit new business in the market, either by using leads provided by the sales team, or by identifying accounts that have the potential to become a solid partner with Drake’s
- Maximize existing business by regularly visiting established accounts and executing against identified growth opportunities
- Support District Managers as needed, including sampling, account call support, promotional execution
- Submit a weekly plan in advance and daily reporting of account visits & outcomes
- Must be over 21
- Must be energetic & a beer lover
- Industry experience (server, bartender, beer buyer, distributor, beverage tailored retail)
- Effective interpersonal, reporting and communication abilities
- Strong work ethic and follow-through skills
