Sour Sunday

Sunday, Feb. 11, Triple Rock Brewery & Jupiter, Berkeley

Pucker up, your favorite funk fest returns! Presented by Jupiter, Triple Rock and Drake’s Brewing, The Sour Sunday has been the Bay Area’s premier sour and barrel-aged for almost a decade. Featuring more than 60 of the world’s finest draft and bottle-conditioned mouthwatering brews, this afternoon of awesomeness is sure to make your jaw hurt!

Brewer V Brewer

Monday, Feb. 12, Drake’s Dealership
6:00pm – 9:00pm

Join Drake’s Brewing and Henhouse Brewing for an epic beer dinner battle royale, and the debut of their new smoked imperial stout collaboration beer, Fowl Play V: No Styles No Masters. You will determine which brewmaster paired the best beers with Chef Taylor’s four course prix-fixed menu.

Uptown Funk: Beer & Cheese Pairing

Tuesday, Feb. 13, Drake’s Dealership

Drake’s Barrel Program Manager Travis Camacho is teaming up with local cheesemaking teacher and “It’s Not You, It’s Brie” author Kirstin Jackson to take you on a journey through beer and cheese magic. You’ll learn how they’re made, what styles of beer & cheese pair best, hear a story or two, and leave with the power to pair your own at home.

Wednesday, Feb. 14, Drake’s Barrel House

Nothing says true love like the marriage of pork and beer. We’re throwing the ultimate dinner party, with slow-roasting whole pigs, delightful savory sides, sweet tooth pleasing desserts and beer to quench your thirst. One of our favorite events of the year.

Cellar Release

Thursday, Feb. 15, Drake’s Barrel House
5:00pm – 9:00pm

We’re bringing out the good stuff, including your favorite Barrel House Reserve Series bottles and a few old favorites from the archives. That’s right, we’re diving deep into our dusty cellar to pull out some of the rarest, most coveted creations we’ve ever brewed. This will be the only time our cellar is completely open to the public, so don’t miss out! Barrel Program Manager Travis Camacho will be on hand to chat barrels and bugs, as well as provide insider information about the ’89 Club, our barrel-aged membership program. No tickets are required.

4th Annual 510 Malt Liquor Show

Friday, Feb. 16, Uptown Nightclub, 1928 Telegraph Ave, Oakland
Doors open at 9pm

Join Drake’s for the 4th annual 510 Malt Liquor Beer Release and Live Show, featuring exclusive beer, local music, and a DJ between sets. The tap list will feature three malt liquor releases: 510 Malt Liquor, the debut of 1020 Imperial Malt Liquor, and Hazy Monkey, a hazy malt liquor made with blood orange in collaboration with Beachwood Brewing. You can also expect brass monkeys!

Tickets are $8 in-advance or $10 day of show. This is a 21+ plus event.

Beer Brunch with Drake’s Brewing & Beachwood Brewing

Meet brewmasters John Gillooly of Drake’s Brewing and Julian Shrago of Beachwood Brewing over brunch, beers, and the debut of their new collaboration beer, Hazy Monkey. Brewed like a malt liquor and hopped like a hazy IPA, this blood orange beast will be ridiculously juicy. Pair your beers with a delicious lineup of savory or sweet brunch menu dishes. Then chat with the brewers who will entertain brunch-goers with tales about their brewing adventures. No tickets are required. Just show up for brunch!


Grillin’ & Chillin’: Family Affair

Sunday, Feb. 18, Drake’s Barrel House

Celebrate the end of SF Beer Week insanity with the entire Drake’s family. Our sister breweries, Triple Rock Brewing and Jupiter, will be in the house with beer on tap. Bring your family to toss some corn hole, play board games, or just chill in our Adirondack chairs. The event will also include our own Papa Roy, Drake’s co-owner Roy Kirkorian, who will be serving up his famous Tri-tip. New SF Beer Week releases will be on draft alongside your favorite Drake’s flagship brews. Come by any time!
