Do It Yourself

Bends & Brews: Free Yoga Online

Staying at home doesn’t have to be stagnant. We’re getting in touch with our flexible side with help from Nicole Abraham, the instructor of our IRL brewery yoga series. Nicole has put together a few short, instructional videos for all you at-home craft beer yogis to enjoy. These are easily accessible for all skill levels, from newbies to seasoned practitioners, so you have no excuse not to crack a beer and press play!

Nicole is also hosting Bends & Brews: LIVE! on our @drakesbeer Instagram every Sunday from 10-11am. Check out our events page for details and tune in for a smooth, hour-long vinyasa flow, stretching your mind, soul and beer belly, putting you in the calm, cool, collected headspace we’re all so greatly in need of these days. All you need to participate is your body, a yoga mat and a good wifi connection. We’ll see you there!

Sun Salutation A

This sequence is designed to get you warmed up and moving. The goal is to start building internal heat. You may find yourself beginning to sweat out last night’s barleywine and that’s a-okay!

Core Sequence

While “six-pack” usually means something different in our world, we encourage you to strengthen your abs and stomach. A strong core aids in digestion, which is helpful if you’re guzzling pastry stouts or souring yourself with all the barrel-aged goodies in your cellar.

Eagle Pose

Dive deep into a posture-driven balancing pose. It’s a great (virtual) party trick to prove your sobriety… Or not.
