FIND THE BREWERY

Drake’s Brewing Company can be found … but it’s not easy. Drake’s in located in San Leandro. Take the Davis exit off of Highway 880. Use this Google map to get you to 1933 Davis Street, and Westgate Parkway. Head south on Westgate Parkway and take a right after you pass the back of Walmart. When you emerge from behind the building, Drake’s will be just ahead and to your right. Look for the grain silo, and the Drake’s sign.

USING PUBLIC TRANSIT TO VISIT DRAKE’S

 

AC Transit: You can also use public transportation to get to Drake’s. Take BART to the San Leandro stop, and hop onto AC Transit Bus #89 Counter-clockwise*, leaving every 30 minutes. The 89 stops inside the Westgate Center, next to Walmart. Get off and walk between Walmart and Sports Authority to get to Drake’s.  The 89 Clockwise can bring you back to BART.
*-The 89 route is a loop, so both directions will get you here, but counter-clockwise from BART is far more direct.

 

San Leandro LINKS: The San Leandro LINKS free shuttle also runs from San Leandro BART to the Westgate Center (stop #4 on their map) from 3pm to 7pm on weekdays.

 

BICYCLES & PEDESTRIANS

If you’re coming from San Leandro BART, we’d recommend taking Williams Street from San Leandro Ave.  It’s parallel to Davis St., it’s a lot quieter, and it has bike lanes.  Exiting the BART station, head south (turn right) onto San Leandro Blvd, turn right on Williams, turn right on Westgate Parkway, then take the first left behind the Walmart, and you’ll see us on the right. Here’s the Google Maps link.  If you’re biking from elsewhere, Google Maps does cover bike directions in our area, and you can also grab the West Of The Hills map from the East Bay Bicycle Coalition.

DRAKE’S BARREL HOUSE

Drake’s Barrel House is open! The Barrel House is Drake’s on-site brewery taproom and retail store— a no-frills, warehouse-style tasting room, set amidst our barrel & packaging storage area. Please visit the Barrel House website for information on hours, tours and retail sales (including keg orders).

 

DRAKE’S FIRST FRIDAY EVENTS
