It’s a battle of beverages! We’re pitting Drake’s Brewing Co. Brewmaster John Gillooly against Griffo Distillery’s Brewer/Distiller Roxanne Tiburolobo for a beer, booze, and food pairing extravaganza! YOU will determine which craftsman wins ultimate bragging rights by best pairing their beverages to Chef Bryan Widener’s five-course prix fixe menu in this epic dinner battle royale.
The event will begin with a casual cocktail hour schmooze fest at 5:30pm, where you will sample infused cocktails crafted by resident Drake’s: The Barn bartenders while scoping out your spot and snacking on starters. Seating and dinner service will start at 6:30pm sharp.
As you eat your way through a ridiculous array of dishes, the brewers will present their beer/spirit pairings and explain why they chose what they chose, allowing you to ask questions, engage in friendly discourse and ultimately cast your vote. Who will take home the title? That’s entirely up to you!

COURSE 1: Da’Feast of’a Several Fishes
seafood cocktail, stone claw meat, jumbo shrimp, daybook scallops
COURSE 2: It’s A Bitter Greens Symphony with Beans, Baby
sautéed local escarole, gigantes white beans, aged goat cheese, shaved garlic, chili flake, lemon, EVOO, herbs
COURSE 3: Wascally Wabbits
rabbit tamales two ways: “traditional” – corn husk wrapped and masa filled, tamales de gaillina – El Salvadorian tamales wrapped in banana leaves
COURSE 4: The Flintstones Christmas Special
shared tomahawk ribeye, served with compound butter, glazed carrots and duchess potatoes
COURSE 5: My Panna Cotta Don’t Want None
eggnog panna cotta atop brown sugar pecan lace, spiced with vanilla bean, nutmeg and orange zest

All tickets include 5-course meal, 9 drink pairings, cocktails during the mingling hour, a private dining experience and open discussion session with these industry leaders. Service fees, tax and gratuity are included. No menu substitutions, must be 21+ to attend. Limited seating available!
