Cloud Hats

With a folk, pop & indie-rock style, Cloud Hats draws its inspiration from varying musical groups, including Arcade Fire, Wild Child, and Sufjan Stevens. Each member of the band comes from a unique musical and cultural background, from ska to classical music, East Africa to Central America. Together, these diverse experiences help shape the lyrics and music that the band members compose.

Cloud Hats was born of an Instagram post from an open mic during the summer of 2016. Since then, it has become the creative outlet for four friends – Gustavo Cruz, Jesse Rodriguez, Nardos Girma, and Beti Girma.
