Drake’s Brewing Declares November 5th Denog Day
The 2024 election season is upon us, and it brings with it a host of contentious issues. This year, voters will head to the polls or submit mail-in ballots, with every vote carrying significant weight. As the outcome of the presidential race may hinge on the narrowest of margins, the importance of fulfilling your civic duty has never been more pressing—or more challenging.
Drake’s Brewing Company, premier innovators of Bay Area craft beer, has nominated November 5th, 2024 as Denog Day, an ode to the massively hopped Denogginizer Double IPA, our 9.75% ABV award-winning West Coast IPA bursting with dank, resinous flavors. This hop monster is the perfect Election Night companion as you hold onto your head waiting for the results. Whether your candidate concedes or the other party’s victory is vetoed, freedom is best served with a cold beer.
This designation affirms the one thing every party can agree on—regardless of the results, you’re gonna need a beer. Please vote, and then destress, responsibly!
Throughout early voting to Election Day, Drake’s Brewing is hopping the vote by distributing “I Drank” stickers at all three retail locations: Drake’s Barrel House in San Leandro, Drake’s Dealership in Oakland, and Drake’s: The Barn in West Sacramento, and wear your “I Voted” sticker on Tuesday, November 5th for a $5 Denog draft. Your endorsement of a pour, 6pk, 12pk, or 19.2oz can of Denogginizer Double IPA is a stand for the red, white and brew.
Drake’s is urging everyone to partake in our democracy and to use nonpartisan resources such as vote.org to check your registration, request an absentee ballot, locate your nearest polling place, and more.
“I approve this message,” says Drake’s John Martin.
