Sour & Stout: New Advanced Oak Releases

Slow SIP’ing sessions this summer in your backyard just became more tasty and satisfying. Our latest small batch releases from Drake’s Advanced Oak program are landing this week. We have three sour blonde ales aged on fruit, and a barrel-aged imperial stout for cool evenings. All of these beers will be available this week at Drake’s Barrel House in San Leandro, and then make their way to the Dealership and BARN. Check out the online menus at each location for inventory updates.

SOUR BLONDE ALE WITH WHITE WINE GRAPES

Death of the Sun

BARREL-AGED IMPERIAL STOUT

This year’s Death of the Sun is big and bold. On the nose, you’re hit with oak and dark chocolate while the taste is reminiscent of brown sugar, coconut, and dark fruit melding with the oak spice and tannins. More info…

Peached Whale

SOUR BLONDE ALE WITH PEACHES

This small batch of our Sour Blonde Infused with Summer Zee peaches is always a crowd favorite. We infused around 2# of peaches per gallon making it super juicy with great peach aromatics. Bolstered by a tiny dry-hop of Mosaic, El Dorado, and Amarillo to punch up the fruit aromatics. More info…

Lusu’s Love Child

This beer is a beauty! This vintage of Lusu’s is our blonde base aged on top of Zinfandel just long enough to get a bright magenta color off the skins without pulling too much tannin. The resulting beer is light, spritzy, and vinous. More info…
